Rescheduled Events
Book Character Spirit Day has been rescheduled for March 9th. Students can dress as their favorite Character or wear a shirt with a character or book title. Students should not be any props to carry with their outfit. No toy weapons please.Book Bingo Night has been rescheduled for March 15th at 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Kindergarten Parent Information Night
Kindergarten Parent Information Night is Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6-7:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for parents to learn about Hoover, our Kindergarten Program and take a tour of the building.Battle of the Books
We have 187 students participating in Battle of the Books. On Monday the students met their coach and got their first book to read. The students are very excited to read and study for the Battle which will be on March 28th.Skibinski Wax Museum
Ms. Skibinski's class held their Wax Museum on Wednesday. The students did an amazing job reciting their knowledge.

Did you know that Ms. Fortier was awarded the distinguished Staff award for Hoover at the PTSA Founders Day Dinner and Mrs. Haberlack was awarded the distinguished parent award? Congratulations to both of them for all their hard word, time and dedication that they give to Hoover.

If you are interested in ordering a variety of delicious meats, such as ham, sausage, turkey, hot dogs, jerky (and much more), catalogs will be in your students backpack early next week. All order forms and payments must be turned in on or before Wednesday, March 14th. Checks are to be made payable to the HOOVER PTA. Your purchased items will be available for pick up on Wednesday, March 28th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at Hoover Elementary.

Book Bingo: Calling all book lovers!! Book Bingo will be March 15th from 6-7 pm. This fun FREE night offers bingo, popcorn and book prizes. Come on out to Hoover and help us kick off March is Reading Month.
Do you have some books around your house that are collecting dust? We are welcoming gently used book donations, children's books, cookbooks, fiction and non-fiction novels. We look forward to seeing you and your family for a fun night out.
Science Fair: Hoover Science Fair 2018 Kick off Assembly will be Monday, March 5th. Every grade level will participate in the assembly and information will be sent home Monday, March 5th with specific details about the Science Fair. This science fair is optional for all students, but we are hopeful that our AMAZING Hoover Rockets will be excited to take on this challenge. Your interest and encouragement will help to make this a valuable learning experience for your child. Families with multiple Hoover students are welcome to work on a Hoover Science Fair project together. The Science Fair will be held this year in conjunction with the Art Fair and Ice Cream Social during the evening on
Thursday, April 26th.
