YEARBOOK ORDERS

Yearbook order forms are due on Monday!

SACC on the SOUTH PLAYGROUND

If you would like to stay after school and have your student play on the playground, please use the North Playground.  Our SACC program will be on the South Playground after school until 5:00.  The SACC staff have been instructed to ask those families playing to move to the North Playground. Thank you for supporting this policy.

Don't feel like cooking on Monday night?  Head to Buffalo Wild Wings and mention Hoover and we will get 20% back to our PTA.  Thank you for supporting our Hoover Rockets.

Next Friday is our Career Spirit Day.  Students can dress as their career choice.

The Dearborn Ham order forms are due on Thursday, March 30th.  Pick up will be on April 13th from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Next PTA Meeting will be on April 12th at 1:00 in the Community Room.

Attention 4th Grade Parents:  Riley Upper Elementary has invited you to their April 12th PTA meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room.

Did you know why it is important to read aloud to students?  Having a teacher read aloud to students helps increase their reading level, because it models fluent reading for students. By following along and seeing how the adult emphasizes different words, pauses at commas and periods, and pronounces difficult words, students can increase their own reading fluency.
