Staff Appreciation Week
Thank you for all the wonderful treats, school supplies, flowers and gifts. We feel so lucky to be surrounded by such a caring community. It was fun to watch our Hoover Rockets delivering items throughout the week. The building was filled with smiles!
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL The last day of school is June 15th! June 14th and June 15th are half days. Students will be dismissed at 12:10. There was an error in the Hoover Highlights!
National Bike to School Day
Congrats to all the families that bike to school this week. It was great to see the bike rack full. Keep it up! Heart! Heart! Heart!
4th Graders Visit Riley
Our 4th grade students went to Riley on Thursday and met their Pen Pal, the administrators and got a tour of the building. They are looking forward to becoming Riley Wildcats!

Math Club
Math Club started this week after school. The students worked on math facts in small groups. Thank you to Mrs. Baughman, Mrs. Mayne and Miss Neville for leading this math adventure.
Parent Connect Reminder
Please take a few minutes to make sure that you are familiar with your Parent Connect account. It is an important resource for information about attendance, teacher assignments, lunch account balances and much more! This is the way that students will find out who their teacher is in the fall. The following information was in one of last year’s Hoover Highlights:
Teacher Assignments will be posted on Parent Connect ONLY in the Fall.
Reminder: ELEMENTARY parents, please log into Parent Connect via our website to make sure you are connected! If you’ve never used Parent Connect, you’ll want to log in prior to next school year, when LPS will post ELEMENTARY teacher/classroom assignments in Parent Connect. We will not be mailing a letter with your child’s teacher assignment.
To access Parent Connect, go to the Parents tab at livoniapublicschools.org and click on Parent Connect. Log in with your user name and password, which was issued at the time of registration. There, you may check classes, assignments, grades, attendance, cafeteria accounts, transportation assignments and more, in addition to managing account settings. If you do not have your log-in, please contact Mrs. Holmes (734-744-2730).

and helped to spoil our Hoover Staff!!! Our week included breakfast, candy
bars, popcorn bar, lunch and gift cards. This was a busy week and we sincerely
thank you for helping to make it a success.
Spree
Wristbands
will be on sale starting the week of May 14th and will continue
until May 30th. Please watch for more information to come home via
backpack mail. This is a great way to save money while enjoying the Spree and
also raise money for Hoover PTA.
Hoover’s
Outdoor Music Concert: We will have dinner and dessert covered. Food Trucks from Burger
Spot and Kona Ice have been reserved for Monday, June 4th. Items
will be available to purchase before and during the concert.
