M-STEP
Our 3rd and 4th Graders took the M-STEP English Language Arts portion of the assessment this week. They worked hard to read, and respond to text on the computer. Next week we will administer the Math portion. Please continue to make sure our 3rd and 4th grade students have a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast each day.Music Concert

Brownie Troop 71722 would like to send a big THANK YOU to the families at Hoover and Cleveland who helped us collect and donate TWO CARS full of food, bedding, cleaning supplies, leashes, bowls, toys, and more to Tail Waggers, a Livonia Non Profit that specializes in helping owners provide care for their pets despite financial challenges. Tonight we toured their facility and learned more about how their all volunteer staff help animals in our community by providing low cost medical care, food, and even foster services. We especially had fun chasing the cats and meeting the other animals currently in residence at Tail Waggers.
OUTDOOR CLASSROOM
Ms. Fortier's class enjoyed the Outdoor Classroom with their instruments. They were 
divided up into maracas, stringed, drums and wind sections.
Giraffe wins the Penny War
Thank you for sending in all that change. The Giraffe won with $449.60 and the Kangaroo earned $358.34. All of these funds will be donated to the Giraffe exhibit at the Detroit Zoo. Look for the sign if you visit at the Detroit Zoo at the end of the summer.
