Book Bingo Night
Thank you to the Hoover PTA and staff for a wonderful night of fun on Thursday. The players won books and were thrilled to take home a stack of "new" books to read.
Larabell Wax Museum
Mrs. Larabell's class had their Wax Museum this week. The students did a wonderful job sharing their important facts/clues about their famous person.

Did you know that the average Middle School Student spends 6 hours a day and the average High School Student spends 9 hours a day in the digital world? I recently attending a Digital Empowerment workshop and was amazed at what I learned. The best way to protect your kids online is to talk to them. Parent first before handing them a device. As soon as your child starts using a mobile device or computer it's time to talk to them about online behavior and safety. Communicate your expectations. For instance by specific about what's off limits-and what you consider to be unacceptable behavior. Young children should be supervised closely by a parent or caregiver when using a computer or device. Limit their time on devices. Involved active children are healthy children.
Author, Mary Morgan: Last
Call: On Friday, March 15th, many of our students had
the opportunity to hear author, Mary Morgan, present her children’s books. She
DONATED her time to our school for 2 assemblies. The Runaway Lawnmower book is
geared towards grades K/1 and the National Parks Series is more for grades 3-7.
Mrs.Linn emailed order forms out on Friday, 3/15, and they also made their way home via backpack mail Monday (if they have not already).
